Man...You come right out of a comic book!

I should be working on finals...but I wanted to do this really bad. This my homage to the original black ninja, Jim Kelly. He was before Wesley Snipes and Michael Jai White. This brotha is too busy lookin' good. If you wanna see his best work, check out Black Belt jones and Enter the dragon.

An illo, I did for eccentric illustration, This is depicting one of my nightmares. He is a reoccurring character who can shape shift. In this particular nightmare he was keeping from going to art school. I had just made the decision to attend the Academy of Art.

This link can explain the character a lil more.

This is illustrating the fight between open source and closed technology and software. The costume references are from the 1979 classic; "The Warriors". This was also converted to viewed on the ipad for the interactive magazine.
An illo for an article about traveling to the 7th plane of existence. The final illustration was animated and converted to the ipad for a interactive digital magazine I'm working on. More to come from this project.

1.     Number one is about the death of an old jet pilot and his remains through time are turned into dust from which a new form of life grows from; the plant breaking through the hourglass to find oxygen. This one I emulated the shape of hourglass literally and made the skull and help part of the hourglass.

2.     This one of course is showing the death of the old Nazi ideals and through time is has evolved into a more modern movement… as terrible and ignorant as it is.

3.     This is one is about the death of a Vietnam soldier. As is moves through the hourglass shape it shows the split of our countries ideals.  The Vietnam war helped lead to the split we now have between traditionalists and progressives in the United States.  Because of the upheavals of the '60s, a split formed in the US between people who held relatively liberal ideas and those who were more conservative.  The war also helped to deepen these differences as the conservatives saw the liberals as weak and unpatriotic and the liberals came to see the conservatives as blindly patriotic militarists and conformists.

4.     Can’t Say much for this one, but It was having fun with the design and different concepts within the shape. I thought It would be fun and cool.

Hey Ya'll its been a while since i posted Anything, but i got something for ya. I'm working on a interactive illustration; Editorial Portrait. She's super poppy, but at the same time she's pretty cool and original. If Lady Gaga and Lil Kim had a baby. It would be Nikki Minaj. I'm gonna post a video if ya don't know who she is.
